Michelle Weng

Hey all! I’m Michelle Weng, but you can call me Shelly. I am a senior at the Bronx High School of Science with a passion for environmental science, design, and education. In my free time, you can find me looking after my five-year-old brother (who can drive me crazy at times).

I am one of the Assistant Heads of Mentoring for PupilPrep. I work closely with Maks and Myles on recording volunteer hours, matching mentees to mentors, as well as responding to parent feedback.

I found PupilPrep during the middle of the pandemic when I had a hard time finding a sense of purpose and direction of what to do. Joining PupilPrep allowed me to not only meet mentees and tutor, but it also allowed me to join a community that was both inclusive and supportive.
