"I would love to continue being a part of PupilPrep because I am finally living out my elementary school dream of being a teacher. It's also a creative leadership opportunity for me that expresses my certain way of teaching. I love how flexible everything is."
“Why did you choose to become a mentor?”

"I definitely formed a bond with my students. I was able to not only find out what they struggled with and how to help them, but I got to know them on a personal level which was very fun."

“Why Did You Join This Program?”
-
"It was about 2 classes before our last where I accidentally opened my Google Classroom drafts section. My student saw the post scheduled for the last day saying something along the lines of "Happy Last Day!" He stopped and said, "You're leaving?! NOO!" I was truly touched by that realizing I am making some sort of an impact on him and honestly I was just filled with warmth."

"I joined this program after looking for a volunteering opportunity for NHS. PupilPrep also fits the perfect criteria for me in terms of teaching! I love being able to help others in any way possible and teaching was the right move for me."

"Totally! I am going to miss him so much. On my last day, he said, "I do not know where I would be without you." Those words, especially coming from a 7-year-old, touched me as I came to tears thinking of how lucky I was to find this program! I feel like my time was very well spent."

"It was fun to find out that one of my mentees were super interested in dinosaurs. Every meeting that we had, he would mention dinosaurs and he would share all of these facts about dinosaurs that I didn't even know existed. I enjoyed learning about dinosaurs and seeing his face light up each time he talked about them. I also spent time during certain meetings to learn more about dinosaurs, archeology, and paleontology."
